This is one of the best Latin Jazz and Salsa bands on the scene today. Comprised of former members of the Tito Puente Orchestra, their experience and talent is rivaled by few musicians.
Led by mainstays of the Tito Puente Orchestra, The Bronx Horns deliver a swinging, tight blend of salsa, mambo, cha-cha-cha and Latin Jazz. Riveting tenor sax and flute player, Mitch Frohman, sizzling trumpeter Pete Nater and alto sax legend Bobby Porcelli have a reputation for virtuosity and excellence in the Latin music field. Performing with the biggest names in Latin Jazz and Salsa including Tito Puente, Mongo Santamaria and Eddie Palmieri they know what it takes to keep dancers on their feet! Performances at the prestigious San Jose Jazz Festival, Marciac Jezz Fest, J.V.C. Jazz Festival and Lincoln Center ‘Out of Doors’ Festival along with top-notch clubs such as The Blue Note and Birdland have earned the Bronx Horns critical acclaim and devoted fans. The Bronx Horns are front and center with an electrifying mix of Latin music.
