2026 Summer Music Series Lineup
PATRIOTIC CONCERT

The Ringgold Band
Reading, PA
June 28th, 2026 at 7:30 PM
The Ringgold Band is one of the nation’s oldest and most distinguished community bands, and a source of immense pride. While we honor our historic roots as a Civil War regimental band—known as “The Band of the First Defenders”—we take even greater pride in the 174 years of music we have shared and the joy it has brought to communities throughout Berks and Lancaster Counties. Education remains central to our mission. For many years, the Ringgold Band has provided teaching and mentorship to middle and high school students through our outreach programs, impacting thousands of young musicians along the way. We also sponsor a chapter of the New Horizons International Music Association, offering music education and performance opportunities for adult learners. In addition, the band proudly supports the next generation of musicians through the Ringgold Band Young Artist Awards (RBYAA) scholarship, presented to graduating seniors from Berks County high schools who plan to continue their musical journey. Since the program began in 2006, more than 40 scholarships have been awarded to deserving students. Historically based in Reading, PA, the band is honored to have been named as the “Official Band of the city of Reading.”

WHAT WE DO
LONG'S PARK AMPHITHEATER FOUNDATION
For over 60 years, Long’s Park Amphitheater Foundation has enriched Lancaster County by presenting exceptional cultural entertainment in Long’s Park. Through our Summer Music Series and annual Art Festival, we showcase outstanding talent from around the country and the world —celebrating a variety of cultures, creative styles, musical genres, and artistic mediums.
At the Foundation, we believe art and music are for everyone. Guided by that belief, we are committed to fostering an inclusive environment—on stage, behind the scenes, and throughout our organization—where every person feels supported and celebrated.
HOW WE DO IT
Our Foundation’s curated programming at Long’s Park is made possible solely through the philanthropy of community sponsors, donors, and members as well as by revenues generated by the Art Festival. We work closely with our partners at the City of Lancaster to ensure our events are clean, safe, and available to all. Together, we all bring music and art to Long’s Park!
Thank You to our 2026 Sponsors!
